dTunes, the community-controlled music blog #14 HALLOWEEN WEEK! [NVGR]

OK, so I didn't get any suggestions yesterday, every Thriller video on YouTube has the embed turned off, I'm sick, I feel like shit, and the damn PlayStation Store won't update so I can play the Mirror's Edge demo. But I'm still here. So, yeah.

I chose to post this song mostly because of how bizarre the video is. Also, this band is nice when you just want to listen to music but not really listen to it. I suggest checking them out, especially when you need to just chill.

Tanks to Daxelman for his dTunes graphic.

Also, I really need you guys to start putting more suggestions, both for tomorrow and next week. We go back to our usual format on Monday.

MOGWAI!!!

-squeel- Just about the best thing about the last NFS.

Anyways, I can suggest Closer, by Nine Inch Nails. That's pretty...errr, fucked up.

Or Fashion Zombies, by The Aquabats.

Can next week be The Killers perhaps? They are much better than just "Somebody Told Me" and their second album(Sam's Town) is fantastic...

I honestly just expected more songs from Nightmare before Christmas to finish this week out...

Erm...for tomorrow: Iron Maiden - Dance of Death. Because its a song about a guy, who gets pulled into the land of the dead and has to dance with them. Idk, it seems to fit the Halloween motif.

And as last week and the week before, I suggest for the next band: Mind In A Box.

Mind in a Box(sometimes written as Mind.In.A.Box):
The music group combines a mix of old school 80s techno with futuretechno with an infusion of video game sound composition(thanks to former game soundtrack composer Stefan Poiss). This blend leads to a highly unique technopop with lyrics performed by a highly computerized voice set to catchy trance-like tunes.

Also, there are plenty of youtubes of Mind In A Box songs.

Sorry, off topic, but do you know what happened to Reclusive Spirit? I don't think I've seen him in here for months.

Just wondering. He wrote some good stuff. One of my favorite bloggers in here.

I also loved his gaming room.

If you see him, tell him I said, "Hi." :)

Nice choice, Mogwai is awesome. For next week I recommend Holy Tears by Isis. The music video is pretty sick/awesome too.

He hasn't signed on to PSN in like 100 days either. I don't know what happened to him.
