Well, a new day, a new track.

Today's song is a suggestion from HardenedWarVet. The reason I'm taking his suggestion is because, well, because he suggested it. It's really that simple. Like I said yesterday, this is community run, I'm just making it. I post what you guys want to see. There were other Rage songs I would much rather have put, but then I wouldn't be following my own rules. I knew what I was getting into and I acknowledged the fact that I will most likely end up making posts with music that I personally don't care for.

But that's the point. I don't matter, and neither do my tastes. You are the community, and this is your blog. So enjoy.

Also, DanMazkin made a comment yesterday that brings up a good point. Most people confused suggesting with this:

"Leftover Crack, Choking Victim, Morning Glory, INDK, No-Cash, Intro5pect, My Own Religion, Misfits (with Danzig on vocals), Against All Authority, Dropkick Murphys, Casualties, Defiance, Sex Pistols, The Ramones, Dead Kennedys, Operation Ivy, NOFX, Flogging Molly, Guttermouth, Sloppy Seconds, Screeching Weasels, The Vandals, The Briggs, Caustic Christ, Rancid, Destruction Made Simple, Blood for Blood, D.O.A., Sublime, Alice in Chains, Beck, Blur, Butthole Surfers, Dave Matthews Band, Eels, Bush, Elastica, No Doubt, Fiona Apple, Stone Temple Pilots, Cake, Green Day, Jane's Addiction, Marcy Playground, Nada Surf, Smashing Pumpkins, Folk Implosion, Donna Lewis, Blind Melon, Presidents of the United States of America, The Refreshments, Silverchair, Pearl Jam, Fun Lovin' Criminals, Deep Blue Something, Primitive Radio Gods, Joan Osbourne, Rage Against the Machine, Nine Inch Nails, Cranberries, Prodigy, The Wall Flowers, Nerf Herder, Jamiroqui, Alanis Morisette, Gin Blossoms, Garbage, Green Day, The Foo Fighters, Superdrag, Weezer, The Pixies, Sound Garden, System of a Down, Marilyn Manson, Porno for Pyros, Radiohead, Oasis, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, The White Stripes, Sneaker Pimps, The Flaming Lips, OK Go, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, The Doors, Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, MC Pants, I KILL PXLS, Bit Shifter, Nullsleep, x|k, Wiklund, Dr. Von Pnok, Rosencrantz & guildensterN, Coda, Sabrepulse, Paza, Regina Spektor, Ben Folds, The Killers, Dethklok, Fiona Apple, Modest Mouse, Muse"

This is a suggestion:

"Arm Cannon could be described as a progressive metal/rock band that choose to perform covers of Retro Videogame songs (ie, Megaman, Zelda & FFVII themes). You could say that the kind of music leans more towards metal than rock, with the tempo for a lot of the songs being pushed up considerably and the double kick drumming giving the songs more balls than ever thought possible. As they are VG covers, there are no vocals, so those of you who are not inclined to the sweet sounds of screaming and growling that metal usually provides can still enjoy what Arm Cannon has to offer. The musicians appear to be quite talented too, as you can hear from the piano solos in SMegaman3, and the almost Opeth-like timing changes in BoomerKwanger. I love these guy not only because they cover themes from the games that I love, but because the take these themes and transform them into something entirely of their own."

If you want to leave a suggestion, leave a reason why that band should be featured.

Thanks guys. And if anyone wants to make a graphic for dTunes, that would be awesome.

Don't care what Rage you put up next, as long as it's from their live album, which is fucking amazing.

Dude, I don't think I could make a paragraph that long out of any band I listen to, lol.

For next week I say you should play some Anarchy Club, and my reason is simply that there are a shit-ton of youtube vids out there.

Also, another band suggestion I think I can make:

Mind In a Box, the techno band that Stefan Poiss and Markus Hadwiger formed. Its cool because their music is a throw back to 80's techno and dance music, but infuses it with modern pop elements. Very trippy stuff. Also, there are a good number of youtube vids of their music.
