I am an American and I have a couple of questions. First, let me explain the purpose of this post: I have seen a few Brit comedies and I have loved every one of them (Death at a Funeral, Hot Fuzz, Shawn of the Dead, Holy Grail). My questions are:
1) Are all, or a majority, your comedies like these, or are these a cult minority?
2) What movies do you suggest along the lines of these films?
Also, am I the only American getting tired of fart jokes and Scary Movie knock-offs?
Sorry about the re-post. I first posted this at 8pm my time, around 2am in London.

I know, but I really doubt EVERYONE reads the forums, I only check the forums when I'm having profile trouble.
There aren't too many, in fairness..... the Mighty Boosh must be mentioned. Pick up the first series of that and the BBC radio shows and go from there. That is truly mind bogglingly good.
I'd also mention the IT Crowd, Nathan Barley and, of course, The Office and Extras.
US comedy isn;t bad at times, but it can often churn out the same stuff again and again.
blogs are for expressing your thoughts and this is a thought I just happened to have. And maybe you should read the ENTIRE post before instantly failing something. Well, let me repeat myself, *ahem* IT WAS 2AM IN LONDON WHEN I FIRST POSTED IT!!!
2. Severance is a horror comedy, I'd check that out.
3. Rodney Mullen is god.
Everyone else has said the best tv shows now tbh.
Expressing a thought does not involve asking questions. It is statement of your inner monologue and by asking others a question that is not a rhetorical one it is no longer a thought but an introduction into a conversation/discussion.
I will not answer your question here. If you asked in the forums I would be more than happy to give you a long list of things you would like but now all I ask is that you listen to Reaprar and not post any more of these fail "blogs" or please leave.

Otherwise I'd recommend pretty much any Monty Python, Vic and Bob or Spaced if you can get hold of it. I'll warn you a lot of Vic and Bob's stuff is... out there...
