Im sure a few of you have been online with COD4 and caught this from time to time. Its pretty clear even if you just hear it. How can someone shoot that fast? How in the hell can they reload the pistol faster than you? This is how.
I actually like this controller. Not for cheating at COD4 but I really like the option of on controller button changes and not limited software only button changes. I also really like the idea of having buttons under the grips on the 360.

If this is just a key macro device, then yes this could be patched out, because it just means some bit of programming is borked that lets you do this by hitting a key sequence super fast.
I remember having 3rd party controllers for almost every system up to the gamecube having the macro recorder. Even before that, there was the start button spam macro to get "slow mo" effects. Eventually all games just had a pause sequence so that it'd suck to use that. Just like here, eventually games will start to realize that buttons cannot be pushed above certain speeds.
this has huge potential to make annoying rpg play throughs alittle bit easier, i will just go a head and state even in the description of the video, any use of this on another without consent is cheating and/or rape depending on how bad it is.
It's a good idea for any fps, it sucks when you have to let go of a stick to jump, reload, or even speak(for those shitty games that make you press a button).
It's beyond my comprehension why anyone would go to this much trouble to cheat at an online game, especially something like CoD 4. Then again, whilst I've never been that fussed about winning matches I know folks that tear their hair out and smash controllers in blind fits of rage when they lose.
Hopefully IW will patch this exploit out, similarly to the many firing/reloading exploits that used to exist in Counter-Strike. That'll leave some rather miffed cheaters with pointless controller mods.
