Notice the lack of two testicles! There are limitations (thank you, God), but the symbolism of said organ is implied with the solitary eye and... fang.







Now, I'm sure the Maxis team has created every single feature of the human body in the past 8 thousand years of development, but THIS is the first pubic- I mean, public viewing of such a spectacle.

note: this does not mean Rockvillian endorses said creation of alien penises or genitalia. in fact, he would rather you create more original creatures so he doesn't have to commit genocide constantly upon Spore's release.

Thanks again to Hitogoroshi for opening the place up, and to everyone there for being cool. If anyone missed it, or is in the area next time, I recommend at least a drop by.

Alright, down to the business.

First, sleepover stories: I slept in Hito's awesome office, filled with so many goodies that I got tired of taking pictures of everything to sell to the Russians- I mean, keep on my computer for memories. My pillow and Ravens blanket (sigh) sat parallel with Kratos, while my head aligned perfectly with a Predator statue. Sleeping up there reminded me of the time I slept over at the Baltimore Science Center in Cub Scouts, inside the Space section beneath the tiny LEDs called stars. Only, this time I was amidst lots of cool plastic and PVC, shaped in the form of my favorite manga (Berserk).

So here, without further delay, are a few pictures of Hito's priceless valuables:

Also, the theme for the night was blue. Blue lightsabers, blue zombies mixers, blue t-shirts, and Blindside's blue hair.



Rock Band was also there, demanding attention.



And last but not least, Topher playing Ikaruga on the ginormous screen. I didn't catch him actually physically playing it, but take my word for it from the few moments of skill that I caught.

First off, a few people requested a higher res version of the Destructoid Prologue, so here it is. For some reason my Flash files have a hard time working on the front page, so there are work arounds... in lower res, sadly.



But now I just want to thank you all for the VERY kind comments and praise for the prologue. Cowzilla, thank you, cause I wouldn't have had the time or energy to write AND draw such an undertaking whilst balancing a full time job in the meantime. I owe you a beer. And HarassmentPanda, I'll be needing you when Nintendo sues me for using their music :P

Also, I want to thank Destructoid in general. It's given me a place to call home artistically, being that my gifts include art, my appreciation for gaming, and ability to deliver stuff like this to individuals as yourselves. I'm gonna keep delivering the best work I can as long as Destructoid gives me the area to do so, and it is all 100% appreciated. And if I can brighten anyone's day in the meantime.... extra points.
