Been really keeping my eye on this neat little gadget. Don't know if you guys have heard of it, but it's called the iPhone. It's pretty low key, so don't feel bad if you don't know what I'm talking about.

Only thing...the monthly fee would really leave quite the sting when it meets with my extremely limited income. The minimum is $60 a month, which may seem like chump change to some of you guys that make more than $6.15 an hour working at Gamestop.

But yeah, do you guys know anything about the iPhone. Any advice? Any experiences?

Supposedly Steve Jobs is going to unveil the *EDIT*2nd*EDIT* generation of iPhone on June 9th...just in time for this potential buyer to sink his teeth into a $500 cell phone.

As someone who owns an iPhone in all honesty I can say that it's not all its cracked up to be. It just does the same shit other, cheaper phones do. It just looks kinda nice.If you do buy one jailbreak it if you wanna get more use out of it. I'm skeptical about the apps apple is gunna add.

No offense to Kryptie and taumpies, but I always thought the iPhone was for "technophiles" and hipster douche-bags. The concept seems cool and all, but I'm not willing to shell out all that cash for the phone itself (along with the switch to AT&T).

It's actually the 2nd generation iPhone that Steve jobs will be unveiling on June 9th, not the 3rd generation. Oh and btw ... isn't there an iPhone forum you could go on which would be a more appropriate place to ask this question? Just a though.

I agree. I love my gadgets, that's why I am a bit disappointed with the iPhone. They could have done so much more. But jailbreak helps out. I also hate that it impresses people so much. Its just a goddamn phone.

Unlock the phone so you can use it with a better service provider. I did it for my sister and it took about five minutes and one download.

Also...I've never considered myself a technophile. I'd also like to think I'm not a douchebag. Though, I'll admit I am currently just gushing over the iPhone. I played with one today at the apple store, and it's pretty neat.
