Sadly no pictures of that happening. No. Sorry.

Something is wrong with me. I can finish a FPS and/or action game, but anything else dies screaming. I'm sitting on the bed typing this with my PSP beside me, and under it is GTA Liberty and FFT. Two good games, most would agree, from my pile (A BIG PILE) of PSP games i own.

And i don't feel like playing them. Cream of the crop maybe, but i don't want to play them. I bought this freaking hunk of plastic (the gigapack version) and i've never yet finished a PSP game. I just keep buying cheap PSP games second hand, hoping i can find some reason to justify it's purchase. Same with the PS2, same with the Dreamcast, same with... let's just say the Xbox and the 360 has the only games i've finished.

From memory, i've finished:

King Kong, Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3, Farcry Instincts Predator, Kameo, Perfect Dark Zero, Call of Duty 2, Crimson Skies (Xbox), Second Sight, FEAR, Doom (360), Cloning Clyde. That's about it. I think there might be more, but... i don't know.

That's every game i've finished since I started gaming with a NES and Sega MasterSystem.

I like games. I must love them, i own enough of them... but all i do is buy more games, play them a bit, and then toss them aside. Bought DW5 Empires (360) recently, along with Phantasy Star Universe (360). Got 1/4 through the single player campaign of PSU, brushed on DW5... and not gone back. Bought Izuna, played it to the final dungeon, but took it out and not got back to it.

Also deciding what to play is evil. I can spend an hour (no lie) trying to work out what to play, and the ONLY reason i play a game, is because i feel so bad about wasting all that time deciding, i grab something and play it for ten minutes, before wandering off to do something else.

MMO games do kinda grab me, but if i stop playing them for more than a day, i forget about them and don't go back.

So. Am i screwed (non literally), or is there anything you can suggest to help? Seems a shame i own most consoles barring the Ataris and Neo-Geos (and PC engines... DAMN YOU PC ENGINE!)... oh and the PS3... and i can't enjoy the games.

Suggestions: try a co-op game, gaming with a friend may get you back into it.
Start a review to be posted here, wanting to finish the review will make you want to finish the game.
I don't have many friends (SURPRISE!) and they aren't really into gaming much, or gaming regular.

However the review thing could work. I mean it's what reviewers do right? They get allocated a game, they play it through, with the underlying reason of wanting to review it. Ok I'll give that a try.
Ohh dayum i have the same problem. i still havent finished uncharted...
the only PSP games I've technically "finished" are Darkstalkers and Street Fighter Alpha 3.

it's gotten to the point where if I'm asked if i have a PSP, i just say no.
Force yourself. You can do it.
