You're one of those smart people that actually listened to us when we said "get the protection plan". Those things are definitely needed for the 360.
it is a sign of things to come. It will red ring sporadically for days, even weeks, until it finally dies.
What Atlas said...It could be a few days, it could be much longer, but make no mistake, it's marching towards its death. Also, PRP FTW!!! I'm waiting for my gift card to come in the mail.
ALL 360s RRoD! All 360's die...it isn't a matter of if but WHEN.

I am actually hoping that if/when this new one red rings, it is sometime in the next 14 months so that it will still be under the warranty. If it is later on in that span, I will probably just get the refund money and use it for something else, instead of a new 360.

Hope you get your fixed soon. Did you have a replacement plan so you can just exchange it? Or do you need to send it to Microsoft?
Mine hasn't done it again, yet. I played Fable 2 for a while tonight, and nothing strange happened. *fingers crossed*
