I make no apology for my Batman pajamas
Anthony Burch | 8:03 PM on 06.17.2008 49 comments

I cannot help it if I (A) have no one to impress, and (B) the greatest dress sense in the history of mankind.

Incidentally, I can't remember where or when I got said apparel, but I'm pretty sure if I ever kicked someone in the face while wearing those pajama pants their head would fucking explode, just like if I chest-bumped with someone while wearing the TMNT shirt.

Anyway, since this blog would be pointless without some open-ended discussion, are there any terribly nerdy articles of clothing you are simultaneously ashamed and proud of?

I have Spider-Man pajama pants, and they rule. Also, various comic book/video game related tees (I love my Ghostbusters logo one). When I'm at home, that's pretty much all I wear.

I love my Homer Simpson pajama pants. I still have my Bullet Bill enemy shirt, but I need to lose 20 pounds to get back into it.

i have 2 pairs of mario pj pants and a stupid mario tshirt that says "party like it's 1985" on the front, with the super mario 3 logo on the back. luckily that shirt is too small for me.

I also have a "player" ball cap that has the nes controller on it. it's smooth as hell.

Nah but Batman PJ's are awesome

I had a Ninja Turtle bed spread, it was so good. I slept with a pizza on my stomach for so long.

I don't see why anyone would ever have to apologize for Batman pajamas. I think people just expected you to wear something more... indiefag.

As for me, I wish I had more nerdy clothing. All I really have is a t-shirt with "I know kung-fu" written on it, with two sprites from ye olde NES/arcade Kung-Fu kicking the shit out of each other.

My sweet Captain Marvel t-shirt and cape. I bought the shirt, red with the mighty lightning bolt on the chest. The cape, however, is homemade. I crafted it for Halloween but find myself wearing it at random for both of your reasons, Rev.

I came in here expecting pictures. :|

I'm not sure if this counts, but I bought one of those hippie shirts that seem to be everywhere these days.. it reads, "Respect Your Mother", and I got it just to draw a little Ness beside of the words. I also have a very old Yoshi shirt that I love. I wear these things in public.

I have a NES controller belt buckle and I wear it with pride along with my Bowser t-shirt.

Never apologise for what you like, because anyone who would judge you for liking something is not worth apologising to anyway.

While I make no apologies for my attire, I would have to make several for more photographic representations of myself than are absolutely necessary.

I have a Legend of Zelda jacket with NES link on the back in his 8-bit glory and it says Olde School above him, and this jacket gives me +1 chastity.

As cool as it is...it hurts to wear it...

I had a green warm-up jacket with Leonardo from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the TMNT logo on the right breast, but it was my little sister's and she stole it back. The whore.

I also have a gray baseball cap (the only cap I own) that has a goomba on it with the words "Game Over" emblazoned under it. I wore that thing to death.

I have a shirt with a pixelated Bubble Bobble dinosaur (it's black and white, so I dunno if it's Bub or Bob) that says "Get out of my bubble." I love it more than all my other shirts combined and I'm not the least bit ashamed of it.

I do have a shirt which I am VERY ashamed of, however. My mom bought me a Naruto shirt thinking I was into it, which I vowed only to wear on days I would not be leaving the house (and have no other clean clothes).

Of course, the one day I wear it, my girlfriend comes over and drags me to the mall. After that, I stuffed the shirt away in a drawer, never to be worn again.
