Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
(Sarcasm, if you didn't catch it)
Also, why are you your only friend Rev?? lol.
Good question.
It's the only thing that's keeping from being a solid single player experience. The mutant aim from the enemies is no fun. My screen is red for the majority of the fucking time.
Anthony I apologize for shitting this up with an unfunny That '70s Show reference. And rather than stop typing and not hit the submit button to prevent this tragedy from ever occurring, I'm going to hit submit and shame myself in public. Regards, ANC.
How do you feel about all the talk over the bad company weapons? Surely you guys read some of that online? The internet acted as though Electronic Arts wanted to imbalance the game to people who buy new weapons. Is that the case? Do the weapons imbalance the game?
Question 2:
Will Electronic Arts ever make a seqeuel to Mutant League Football? Same basic game as Madden, just with murder. Electronic Arts would gain a lot of credibility with the online audiences.
Question 3:
Do companies like to produce downloadable content to renue interest in games that are waning sales wise? Do you guys pay attention to sales numbers and online leader boards?
Question 4:
Tell him the series should go to medieval, feudal japan, or perhaps battlefields. Even placing things in a much more violent fantasy world would be more appealing. Just go easy with hovercrafts and spikes on vehicles if you're going for "fantasy" stuff. Plus for some reason I think first person sword fights needs to be done better. Ask this last part verbatim: Are you a bad enough developer to make that game?
Question 5:
How does this Electronic Arts guy feel about the Spore DRM stuff? Press the question if they try to back off of it.
I could do more thought out questions, but these are just off the top of my head.
No, not really... I don't really care about this game... I'm so tired of shooters... Why am I even commenting? Maybe I can justify it by encouraging Rev with a question for him instead.
Dear Rev, how did you get so dashingly handsome?
Why did the character bob so much when they walk?
I'm usually not affected by any kind of motion sickness, but I felt dizzy while moving around in the game. Do the protagonists just like to take really heavy steps?
I perosnally prefer to have to go back and re-play sections when I am killed (man that sounds crazy when I write it down) rather than going straight back where I left off and so didn't pick up Bad Company after playing the demo. What am I missing?
I think you should ask GalagaBugs.
- Based on their experiences and expertise, which platform did they "enjoy" developing on more and had better experiences with?
- List 5 things went right during the design/development process. List 5 things that went wrong.
- Are they disappointed that their game has not achieved the lasting appeal of COD4/Halo/etc?
Will we be seeing a Battlefield game on the Wii? Ever?
What will they do to make multipayer as fun as CoD4 and Halo 3?
