About Me
Hello ladies, my name is Sir Cucumber. I'm looking for a redheaded woman who likes puzzles, vegetating, and settling disputes with a game of rock, paper, scissors. No persimmons, please.

I've been blogging for a year with my brother, Doomeru Woebashi, at Resigned Gamer, but no one ever comes to visit us there, so I've come here to beg for your attentions.

If I'm not playing the hot new game of two years ago, I'm probably playing a 6/10 bargain game from one year ago. I do this not because I am cheap, but because I would rather live off gaming's long, shit-encrusted tail than face being "between games." God, nothing sucks more than that.

I like photoshopping screen shots of classic games, and, when feeling saucy, have been known to write the occasional haiku.

Please leave a comment. That way I won't feel so all alone!

There is no substitute for that fresh and hopeful feeling you get from exercising your franchise. True most of us live in states where our votes mean nothing, but we get to push a button! A big button! In some polling places it's even a big lever!

And all you people living in miserable places like Nevada, Missouri, or North Carolina- today is the one day that the rest of us care what you think!

I know it's an imposition. I know it's a pain. I know you've got to get to work and punch in, or get home and cook dinner for the kids. But you could have voted early and you didn't, so whose fault is that?

Neither one of these chumps have all the answers- but government never does. It's clear though that something must be done, and leaders follow people, so let's all push a button for the Republic today!

Voted early? You realize that is why all of the people at my job are not present? Why there was a huge line outside of a building at 6am in the morning with cars parked for half a mile down a busy street?

Voting early is what everyone planned on doing and it is going to take hours.

God bless America.

Hey, at least I get to leave work an hour earlier today to vote. Bring your DS for the long wait, people!

NC over here, my district alone had like 500,000 some odd people voted early. I just went through the voting process in under 5 minutes.

Times a changing boys! THE ROOF IS ON FIYAAA!!!

I walked right up to my polling place. No line at all. Another thing that made me happy was that there was no electronic voting this time. We had to fill out a scan-tron. That made me feel a little better, since I live in Florida, and my vote has been hijacked in the past.

I voted absentee, on Friday! No lines for me, so I can go back to the booze!

@ BlindsideDork - sorry man, by voting early I meant voting voting *before* election day, not early during the day. Each state has different rules about how you can go about doing it, but at the very least I think all states allow for absentee voting, and many states don't ask you for a reason as to why you want to vote absentee (i.e. I don't want to wait in a fucking line on election day). In fact, I believe that Oregon is totally vote-by-mail. They have no lines at all!
