So anyway... These last few days I've been playing these Halos that everyone seems to be talking aboots. Don't really feel like writing much though, but I will say this.
The multiplayer
fucking rules. Any game that uploads stats so the
Entire internet can see how hard I suck is quite sweet and it's not horribly broken like Halo 2 either, joy!
On the other hand, I can barely bring myself to play trough the first level of singleplayer. So dull, I mean shit. That forest filled with camping jackels just screamed meh. I was expected an ass kicking beginning to the finale but instead i got a stroll through the woods. Couldn't they have started the game up wherever the fuck the chief was before he fell from fucking space. I mean what the fuck? That didn't even make sense. Someone said something about some plot explaining comics and shit but still, I don't want to read a series of comics and novels just so I can figure out what happened between two games. But anyway, I guess solid single player is what Bioshock is for.
Bah.
I suppose I can't really judge shit from only the first hour or so of the game. Might go back to it soon.
Anyway, its all worth it (guaranteed) when you kill a scarab. Oh, also, i noticed while playing through again by myself (first play through was with my brother) the game is pretty much designed for co-op. I reccomend it.
wait... you are lambasting a games single player because of the first five minutes?
literally within five minutes of the campaign it is the epitomy of awesome.
you save marines on a dam from some brute charges and have to fight drop ship upon drop ship of enemies...
whatever, I'll enjoy my 1000 gamerscore with my katana on the back of my marathon armor...
You do suck.
What the fuck is a Steaktacular medal, and why do I have one?
I Steaktacular occurs when you are on a team that beats the other team by 20 or more points. It's called that because Luck Smith of 1up Yours fame now working for Bungie beat someone a steak dinner that he and his team could beat the other by 20 points of more.
Why do I know this? Because I have a long ass commute to work and I listen to a shitload of podcast. Speaking of which, how's D-Toid's podcast? I only listened once and I had no clue what was going on.
Must've got that from that game of shotty snipers on Valhalla.
Right.
