So, Destructoid is once again hit that special time (which I find weird because 2 puberties is probably not good) and is going through changes. Again.

But this also begs a question that I'm sure someone has touched on already (because I'm slow when it comes to things). Will the ratings system hamper the Valhalla that is Dtoid? And why the fuck is Niero number 2? Who the fuck is this Jim Sterling that's number 1?

Back to the original question; will this make Dtoid become a somewhat more competitive place? Sure, it's cool to see the top 50 people that don't suck, but will that make others start filling the clogs with pointless banter about not sucking just to get more popular/recognized? This could even be pointed as a futile attempt at being ranked higher, but I come to Destructoid to read epic threads, Ron Workman's rantings, and Electro Lemon's shit. Not really to see who's number one in the ratings board. I will say though that it would be cool to be number one and receive some form of internet fame. Sadly I'm not a writer, and have no ability to insert humor into the vagina in my writings, rendering my posts useless. It always ends up in the belly button, leading to awkward situations and a cigarette way too early in the night.

But I digress.

Sure, it's cool to see that I'm number 68 out of 20+ thousand, and that my Dtoid score is way OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAAAAAANNANDNNNDDD!!!11ELEVEN!, but in the end it boils down to making Dtoid different, which I sure hope it doesn't.
