this post isn't exactly gaming related, but it is still technical/geeky per se, so bear with me.


as posted here, this family has been hacked to high hell.

someone has been stalking the Kuykendall, Price and the McKay families, using cell phones to track their moves with terrifying accuracy. using advanced snoopware techniques, the stalker[s] use the families cell phones to record conversations, snap pictures, and torment the families in various ways. the hacker has done a very good job at hiding his tracks, making all the calls and texts redirect to look like they are coming from Courtney Kuykendall's phone. even when the phone is turned off, records show that messages came from it. the hacker was even able to turn on a phone after it was turned off, and change a ringtone to say "pickup" after one of the victims tried to ignore it. even replacing the phones didn't help, as the calls kept coming.

scary stuff, it's amazing what technology is capable of, good and bad.
