I saw World War this morning...and I really did like it a lot. It was a glimpse into the future...and the future is in good hands. At least as it applies to the world of computer rendered 3D animation. It was created by Vincent Chai for his final degree project in 3D animation, at the University of Hertfordshire, UK. I don't think I'm going out on a limb here when I say that Mr. Chai just may have a future ahead of him at Pixar. Or if he should so choose, one of the many video game developers. Watch this in full HD if you can, it's worth it in my opinion. If I had one qualm with this short film it would be the ending. I would have liked to have seen a different one. A small nitpick in an otherwise outstanding effort. Here's to more where that came from Mr. Chai!
