I found this via Gamevideos.com. In my opinion, there isn't much of a noticeable difference between the two versions. But I'm far from an expert on the subject. Anyways...let the fanboy-flamewars begin...

The xbox looks a bit brighter other than that coming down to TV settings it looks the same.

And whos to say that video is all done in 1080p, what resolution, what type of connection, what brand TV....etc Too many variations to list that would easily make one dominate the other.

There's really nothing you can tell from these Gametrailer.com comparison videos. Their compression techniques alone will inevitably affect the direct feed drastically. The only way you'll actually get a straight up comparison is to do it yourself. Hook up a PS3 and 360 with both their respective games.

Or you could just buy it for your console of choice and stop being a huge whiny nerd about it.

although this is cool, I seriously wouldn't let it affect my purchase. I'd get the PS3 version if I had a PS3 only cause I feel better off with GTA on it's originater system. But the 360 is fine. i'm not complaining 1 bit.

the REAL comparison should be people who have HDTV and who don't. i'm sure people who don't have 1 are rather jealous for the fact they can at least have these type of choices of grapkics.

WHy the fuck make a video comparison? I mean, if you only have a PS3 buy that one. If you only have an Xbox 360 buy that one. If you own both then great, you're not a fanboy so you coulnd't care less and whichever you choose is gonna be an awesome purchase.

What amazes me is someone took the time to make a video, and we took the time to comment...But I have been playing GTA since 8:30 this morning...So I have a 'break' excuse...kind of...

Also, in nothing to do with the video, and having owned both consoles, I have always thought the PS3 games had better looking textures on the environments, I think it has something to do with how they use their lighting, or maybe I am just looking at the wrong games. I do know one thing, I was pissed when I opened my PS3 and seen it comes with a standard AV cable... bad times.

^I can't say...There are games I've seen on it that look insane, and then there are ones that look worse for wear against the 360 versions (not talking GTA 4 here). I think it comes down to who develops the games. Sonys in house devs do a brilliant job. Uncharted was flat out beautiful...Then you look at something like Madden or Rainbow and it pales in comparison.

360 has DLC and the ability to stream my own music in the game. Those two reasons are what matters, and that is even more obvious after seeing this video. (They both look basically the same: PS3 is brighter like always, 360 has brighter color contrast like always).

dephect, it has to do with the graphics card in the PS3. I don't know the technical details, but it adds a blur to all games and makes the colors look brighter. What it really is, though, from what I understand, is that the 360 has a better shader in it, which allows for richer colors. Really, though, unless you put them both together side by side, you'd never really notice the difference.

I wish I knew more about it. One thing I know for a fact is that the 360 video card has the ability to give deeper lighting effects, which is the main reason the two have that different look.

Curious Buck, wheres your info from? Everything I have read, seen and heard will be that the first DLC pack will hold at least 10-15 hours that really flech out the story and the charactrs in them...Only R* and MS knows for sure....But I would be hard pressed to believe, without pictures or something that would make it a dissapointment. M$ spent 50 mil....No chanceyou see a GotY version for both systems and it includes all DLC....breach of contract from where I'm sitting (at least if they attempted to put ut on a PS3 disc.

I don't think most people realize that these comparisons are done using the exact same monitors and cables. I mean, why bother if they didn't do it that way?
