Smart enough to hotwire a PS3. Not smart enough to operate the zoom features of his cam.
lol @Haxan
I think the camera was on it's own.
This would be bigger news.
He has the download version of Warhawk.
Oh how I miss my HDD PS2...
If I had 32GBs, I'd use it on MGS4.
I was going to say what Manta said!
Next thing he'll post is him playing Siren and Bionic Commando from the HDD...*gasp*!
I'm sure it could be done but then we would get weekly firmware updates like the PSP due to piracy concerns.
Oh, I hope this can happen! I'd luv to just jam all my games on the HDD. I can be a wee bit lazy sometimes. :)
What a lame video. And yeah, I play Warhawk from my harddrive.
So cool if true. No more lugging games back to school, since they'd already be on my PS3's hard drive.
Yeah, the downloaded version of Warhawk is what I thought of, too.
And "legal way?" Hmm...
interesting. it's possible that it's legit. hard to tell for sure. apparently there was some exploit in 2.10 that let unsigned code run. if this is real it's cool but i'm guessing it wont be practical since it would be patched quickly in a subsequent firmware update. it will probably happen practically, eventually; but using a mod chip.
if it ever does, i expect games to start coming w/ a bunch of extra garbage data scattered throughout the game code to artificially inflate the disc size. I know it's practically like that in a lot of games atm, but that's more of data being cloned at different areas of the disc to compensate for BD's slow seek times.
id like this so i can play my japanese ps1 games on my ps3.
I thought about writing on this when I first read about it on qj.net, but thne decided no.
It seems this is the same kid from TEAM ICE that made the fake ISO loaders and what not.
If it is, great break through... though I dont seeing it last long with all the F/W updates sony rolls out.
I call shenanigans.
