Now I know nobody in the Destructoid community needs/wants to see this video. And to be honest, I don't like to use cheats myself...really, I don't...but I can't honestly say I've never used any cheats.

Anyway, here's how to use them. Press up on your D-Pad to display your cell phone. Then press up again to access the keypad. After that, enter the codes and call the number. If you did it correctly, it will say Cheat Activated in the top left corner.

Please feel free to confess your cheating here...we'll keep it between you and I.

Still wanna play the no cheating way, then I'll probably mess around with the cheats later on. It seems like they'll take a while to put in...

I'm playing it through without cheating, but once I've completed it all, i'll probably enter the cheats just to make the free roaming a bit more exciting.

Dont Achievements get locked if you use cheats (in the 360 version anyway) and why would you want to use cheats? The game is actually pretty damn good without them.

achievements only get locked temporarily, if u save the game after cheating and load it up again u can get the achievements.its only blocked for that particular session.

yeah, this is actually the first gta game that i'm going to play the whole way through without using a single cheat. I also don't want my achievements blocked.

I don't have the 360 version, so achievements aren't a problem. But yeah, I do use cheats in GTA games. I tried to do this one with no cheats but said 'fuck it' about halfway through. I don't feel dirty or anything, cheats and GTA go hand in hand for me. It doesn't make the story any less great, and the game is still incredibly fun. And for some missions, where the entire point is to not use a specific cheat; it just takes away the expereience to use one. The bank heist mission? Keep those cops coming man, I don't want no 0 star wanted level.
