GTA IV: MTV vs MeTV Video
ReclusiveSpirit | 9:11 PM on 05.06.2008 4 comments

MTV Multiplayer shows us how accurately Rockstar did with their own version of Times Square...I mean Star Junction.

They went outside their offices in Times Square and shot some video comparing real life to the virtual life in GTA IV. In my opinion, Rockstar did one helluva job.

I know this might be too early to ask, but does anybody know what's next for Rockstar North?

Only thing Rockstar is missing is the dense population and cars of the real one.

Its almost like a ghost town in GTA's version.

@animateria...yeah, I noticed that too. It just shows that even in a game as good as GTA IV, there's a limit to how much onscreen activity it can handle at any given time. But still, I feel Rockstar North really pushed the envelope in so many different ways with this game.

While I really wish there was bumper to bumper traffic in Star Junction in the game it can get annoying when I run into traffic elsewhere in the game, it's pretty cool.

Rockstar North did a great job with replicating NYC as closely as they possibly could. Yeah there are limitations to on screen activity, but thats normal. And i agree with you ReclusiveSpirit, they pushed the envelope and they have succeeded.
