The fine folks at Gametrailers.com have put out a nicely made interview with Gears of War 2's lead designer, Cliff Bleszinski. Now love him or hate him...he definitely comes across in this interview to me as a man who's not only confident in his product, but also as someone who really cares about it too.
He talks about the single player game and the "water cooler" moments he's hoping the players get to experience. He also talks extensively about the numerous elements that have been added to the multiplayer game. I could tell you more, but the trailer really does do a better job at speaking for itself.
And yes, there is some sweet gameplay footage in this trailer.
