I got a message from a friend asking me to roll on by ScrewAttack because they finally implemented all the features they promised.. over half a year ago now, So I think "Hmm, I'll go see what all the fuss is aboutz" And I really wish I didn't.
The website doesn't look any better, Except that they centered it now, which, great! Coulda took three seconds to do to the old site, they've opted for extremely simple web-design, and have decided to use links instead of images for their navigation.
A wise choice for this website, which losesafeatureeveryweek.
Overall the site has had a major down-grade.
Also, that repeating background image is hideous.
Anywho, I decided I'd go check out their 'G1 Blogs' (Read, Cblogs) and I really wish I didn't, here's some excerpts:

Thats sad to hear.. i sometimes go to the site for their podcast and nothing more..well except two shows they have which are entertaining, but like you said, they will probably lose it it a week or so.

I still check up on a few things there but that 'redesign' hasn't really altered the layout of the site one bit. It truly does look like the same site with a new header.
As for the blogs, please get in there and sort them out Reaprar.
Eh, I really only paid attention to the top 10 lists and the video game vaults, both of which still seem pretty good. Their podcast is definitely worse now with Tom gone and the interns involved, but to be honest it wasn't much to begin with.
I checked out the practice podcast over at TheGameHeroes.com, so far I like it a lot better than sidescrollers has become.
Craig talks about how letting Tom leave was a "good business", he's an idiot, Tom was a bigger part of screwattack than he gives him credit for, I'm surprised how much worse the site has gotten since he left. I'm looking forward to what Tom's gonna do at his new home.
While I can sympathize with both sides of the Tom vs Craig story, and I still check into the site every couple days, my main reason for visiting Screw Attack was for Sidescrollers, which was one of my favorite podcasts, due to the great chemistry and banter between Craig and Tom. There were a true "classic duo". A real shame they had to split.

But yeah Craig kept promising all this cool shit and it kinda never happened.
And man I don't want to listen to Jose on the podcast. Maybe it was the subconcious reason I quit.
