Long story short, had a day from hell, my family is sick, my father just got back from hospital (which is why I'm with them now) and we just had a mother fucking earthquake of some kind, the house shook so voilently I thought someone crashed a car into the house, my Cousin just called me and her house is still shaking, what the fuck is going on here?
I know this is a stupid blog and it's not video game related but I'm freaking out, earthquakes in the UK are just unheard of, my internet is sort-of cutting out alot so if I'm inactive for a while, that's why.
Now I've just noticed
this story on the bbc website being the most popular news story (meaning it's had the most hits) which I'm guessing means everyone's panicing trying to find info, because this is a YEAR old.
[I wrote this a while ago, but dtoid has been down for me for like, ages, so to update here - it's been on the news a few times now and they've died down, had a few more rumbles and such but everything seems to be fine now,
here's the new BBC page on it that they got up (finally), and I've just heard that there's another one coming soon.]
Dtoid was down a moment ago. Probably maintenance or something. So there's nothing wrong with your connection.
What the fuck:
Paul Smye-Rumsby, who lives in Dover, said: "It was about 8.15 when suddenly the bed shook violently.
"I thought my wife had got cramp or something but then I saw the curtains were moving and the whole house was shaking."
There is an Earthquake and you think your wife got cramp. Hilarious.
I’m hoping that you and yours weren’t hurt by this.
I can sadly say that this information is true. And even with that we're still overcrowded with shitty homes costing around half a million near the city.
Yeah, California life is great.
Also, the air sucks.
uh oh!
