FapFapFap. That is all.
But for cereals, holy shit that was fucking awesome, Being a Star Wars game vet, I instantly loaded the game in the hardest setting available, Sith Lord being the hardest, Apprentice being the easiest and Sith Warrior being the medium, with another difficulty setting remaining locked for the demo. The demo begins with a quick cutscene of the apprentice and Vader, basic "You're my apprentice now, go on this mission" deal, we're taken to an imperial shipyard, with the task of killing a jedi and returning his saber to Vader, a task we are unable to accomplish in the short demo, sadly. The shipyard is seemingly empty, we're given a few droids to fuck with in the begining, to get us use the the force powers. I like being able to torture things that cannot fight back. Anyways, we stumble across a raging battle, and then we get our first taste of real combat, which I have to say is a major improvement from the past games, (please take note: I stayed up more than I should have to get this demo so this will be full of ramble and run on sentances, kinda like this one.) control feels very simple, yet complicated stylish combo attacks keeps it fresh, your force powers are now assigned to quick buttons, no more cycling through menus during the heat of battle. The core force powers shown in the demo were: Force grip: Not to be confused with force choke, force grip is basically a 'win' button, grab an object with the force, move it around with the two control sticks, let go of the R trigger to launch the target in the desired direction. Force Lightning: You all know what this is, zap stuff with lightning bolts, very effective. Force push: Again, a classic force move, a quick burst of the force, sending your opponents flying. Force dash: It's what it sounds like, a quick dashing move. These all sound simple, but unlike the last games, these are extremely powerful, and in the demo I believe they were only level one, and I already felt like a god, and as if they weren't powerfull enough, you can combine these moves together to make devestating attacks.
For example, in once instance, I dashed towards some cover, force grabbed a storm trooper, took him high in the air, charged him with electricity with force lightning, then launched him at a large group of storm troopers and killed them all instantly, this happened in a matter of seconds. Pure bliss. Sound: It has it, classic Star Wars themes, fitted well, can't complain. As for the difficulty.. here's where there's a problem, the entire demo was a complete cakewalk, I never had ANY trouble from any of the foot soilders, the worst point was when a rebel with a minigun was firing at me constantly while I was defending all of his attacks, I wasn't sure what to do, but a quick jump and then force blast took care of him. There was nothing difficult on the hardest difficulty setting until the very end of the demo, an AT-ST raises from a lift, with a small army of storm troopers on toe.. and this is where the difficulty spiked, but I feel it wasn't because of the actuall 'boss battle' it felt more like it was a problem with the targeting system, which is my only major gripe. In a game like this, where you can interact with the enviroment alot, there's alot of things to target, the force unleashed seems to target everything as you move around, which is fine.. until you're surronded by objects you can target, and enemies, this presents a problem where you can often target the wrong enemy or some objects, and when you're fighting a gaint walker, that can kill you in seconds if you're not paying attention, it becomes rather frustrating, thankfully I was having too much fun to GET frustrated, but I'm worried in the full game this might become a bigger problem. Also there's no invulnerability time after you get knocked down, this is another problem I incountered where the AT-ST would knock me down and the surronding storm troopers would all shoot me and drain my health instantly. Once you finally drain the AT-ST's health bar down, you're given the option of instigating a quick time event, same old stuff here, it's stylish and fast paced, we like that, the demo ends as you split the AT-ST in half. Those minor problems aside, I can't wait for the full game, and I'm probably forgetting a ton of stuff I ment to mention so I'm going back to play the game, go download the demo now, and judge for yourself. -Reaprar

Fucking win!
I also had a problem with it taking a couple of attempts at the AT-ST while doing the same things each time for the button press thing to kick in.
Probably going to buy it anyway but it'd be nice if this sort of thing was sorted before release, though I won't hold my breath.
Well, my only option now is to fall down the stairs at work to go home early and download that thing myself.
Warping doors open with force push is awesome. I just walked up to the AT-ST and it went into a quick time event, which was also cool.
I really want an M rated version of this with limbs flying around.
That sounds so awesome
