I've been inactive alot, so if this is old, let me know, can't find anything on it though.
Scans have surfaced on the internet for Dead Rising WII, gunna have to assume it's a port since I can't read japanese.
I dunno if this is a good or bad thing, to be honest, there's alot of swinging jerky motions in DeadRising, and I don't wanna be imitating that, I'm also curious as to how the wii will handle that many zombies on-screen at once.
Are these really screenshots from the Wii?
If so, I'm impressed to say the least, wow.
EDIT: Wait, it says 360 in the corner there.. what's up with that?
If someone can read japanese (I'm looking at you necros) can you tell me what's going on here?
I really should finish DeadRising, also that chick is a fine looking 3D model, I bet her polygon count is about 34DD, if you know what I'm saying.
Also, that does seem like quite a few on-screen zombies there, hopefully that's not the limit though, I hope it's atleast double that.
A sharp eye will notice the RE4 Style waggle quick time going on there.
Update:
Looks like some dev interviews shown here, and a gimpse at the HUD, looks... different, I wouldn't say better, though.
Fourth image down is showing an alarming number of zombies.. That's really shocking, the wii can have that many on screen at once? Jesus christ.
Some more Resident Evil waggle quicktime, Case files, and that lovely fat couple I remember reuniting so often.
Besides the zombies (which are horribly blocky and blurry) I'd say the models look pretty nice for the wii, Frank definetly looks like Frank.
[Sonic unleashed info]
...
I have nothing to say to this, except: LOOK AT THOSE FUCKING ARMS, JESUS CHRIST SEGA.
EDIT: I'll also say, I bet that wolf mother fucker controlls like Venom from Ultimate spiderman, I'm calling it right now, those wide sweeping arms, heavy body.. I'm calling it.
Here's also some old info you might have missed about Captain Rainbow, Wario Land, Pokemon, Chrono Trigger, Bunch of shit I can't read, Etc.
Wario Land Screens:
God this game looks like a classic Nintendo game, I feel like I'm a kid again, reading gaming mags (we didn't have any of this 'nintendo power', that you kids had), I really like that map there in the corner, reminds me of the original two zelda maps, but with more water.
New Pokeman screens:
Hmm, so you might be able to catch both Palkia and Diagla? Not sure if that's such a hot idea.
Also see some new areas and characters in here, pretty interesting.
Chrono Trigger Screens:
It still saddens me that they arent atleast changing the SFX, I don't think anyone is so anal that they'd bitch about some updated things, that portal just looks outdated to me.

I can't imagine the Wii being able to handle the Zombies...
On that note, I can't imagine myself wanting to do all that work swinging and hitting.
Fok that. I want Dead Rising for my PC ;_;
Dead Rising on the Wii doesn't sound like a great idea to me. Well let's wait and see how it looks in motion.
The Pokemon scan is kinda old, since it's the Famitsu from last week.
One of the huge draws of Dead Rising is it's ability to throw so many zombies at the player at once. If the Wii can't handle that, it'll be interesting to see what is done to fill the gap.
Pretty cool stuff, but where have you been internet policeman?
Hmm... maybe DR will be level or mission based. Something along those lines.
well at least this shows Capcom still has interest in the series
@Reaprar
Well I hope it's sorted
n00bz were running wilding in the blogs during your absence!
"Capcom loves us, I feel like they're the only company around right now that really gives back to it's fans"
Truer words have never been spoken.
Hrmmmm...didn't even consider the slow-down that could occur on the Wii. Just this morning, I was playing through DR, running through the North Plaza where there are a shit-ton of zombies...wandering around, falling of scaffolding, clogging up the hallways. I'm cutting them down left and right with the mini-chainsaw, and experienced no slow-down whatsoever. Blood, body parts, and guts were flying everywhere. I don't know how they are going to replicate that on the Wii.
Not knocking the Wii...I love the damn thing. Just, I've experienced tiny lags on games that don't do a fifth of what is going on in a zombie mob on DR. No More Heroes would slow down occasionally during battles, when things get crazy in Brawl I'd see it, even seen a bit in Metroid Prime 3.
Sonic Unleashed is built off the Sonic and the Secret Rings engine, isn't it? I see a lot of similarities between the two. Too bad they had to saddle the game with this terrible werewolf gimmick.
It's not slow-down, it's slow-mo!!!
Don't get me started on the Wii version. Apparently it's going to have a fixed camera (RE4 style), there's going to be less zombies (the Wii probably can't handle the current amount), more bosses, and new items. I can't really see the amount of gore in Dead Rising being released on the Wii (priest's death, Adam's death, etc) but I'm not going to rule it out entirely. Remember, this was R18/CERO Z.
As for the graphics, well..
Post from another forum talking about Dead Rising Wii, seems someone translated a little bit of the text.
And it makes sense you could get Palkia and Dialgia in the 3rd Pokeymans one, you could get Kyogre and the red guy in emerald.
