Teleporters all over the place is a bad thing? ok.
The map is F6. I don't know, I'm able to learn the controls for the games I play, but that's just me. If every game had a map pop up when you pressed 'M', where is the innovation? I kid, but really, there's a page in the manual telling you what button does what. Read it. Maybe you'd enjoy the game if you didn't spend your time comparing it to the last game you played.
