I still haven't played Final Fantasy 7, so I haven't seen either spin off movie or games. I felt like I was going to mess up the story without playing it.
I would play the original, but it looks fucking terrible now.

You have to make a counterpoint before you can say 'touché.'
7 is good, but 8 is the best imho.
