Persona! That was the other one! I remember reading about P4 here and thinking it looked pretty good, long time till it comes out in the UK though apparently.
Hmm never even glanced at a God of War game before, might take a look.

Hmm I played SOTC at a friends for 5 mins but I never gave it a second look after that (I rode around for 5 mins) perhaps I should give it a proper go.
I'm definitely going to buy P3FES, it should bide my time till 4 comes out.

Got one, only problem is Sony removed the BC before i got mine. Probably because they are BASTARDS.
Beyond Good & Evil, Sly Cooper games, Okami, ICO (if you can even find a copy of it), and Shadow of the Colossus are games I think you should place at the top of your list. Maybe Final Fantasy X if you don't mind the absolutely ridiculous, and rather embarrassing, characters.

Final Fantasy X was way better in my opinion than XII
any of the NiS stuff except for Phantom Brave which has a small potentially game ending glitch that takes away the recommendation. Although its still a pretty good game.
God of War 1&2 (Epic story, gameplay, enemies, vistas)
Shadow Of The Colossus. (Epic battles, enemies)
Okami (It's a great action RPG, >BUT< it's super long)
Final Fantasy X (Nothing ground breaking, good old FF)
Multiplat.
Metal Gear Solid 2 (difficult story, fun gameplay)
GTA SanAndreas (Huge)
GTA Vice City (my personal favorite GTA, story is really good.)
Silent Hill 2 (Best SH evar)
I never owned one, but now that I have a PlayStation 3, I just play lots of great PS2 RPGs on that.
Actually, since I got a PS3, I have bought more PS2 games for that than PS3 games.

Maximo Vs. the Army of Zin
Both really great when your in the mood for platforming hack n' slash action, and cheap to boot. You can get both for under $10.
Blood Will Tell: Osamu Tezuka's Dororo
Really weird (but awesome) samurai action game. Recommended.
