Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
as for tomb raider, i'm yet to play so won;t pass judgment till i do.
I think that's how you do it. I'm not in front of my 360, and I didn't play too much after getting across. Seriously, I felt totally stupid that I couldn't figure out how to jump to the landing, and when I did it once, that was it. I went into the island interior, got ticked that the second tiger duo kept beating the shit out of me, and ended up turning it off.
I've played other Tomb Raider games, so I knew that stupid jump had to be weird...it would just have been nice to have some sort of direction given, or allow you to move the camera a little bit more than it does. And after handing the first pair of tigers their balls on a platter, having the second set bat me around and knock me down every time I got back up was really frustrating.
Not surprised that Eidos was trying to kill the "bad" scores.
