Another Tuesday, another
RvB: Recon episode. On a side note, I have decided that I will be doing this every Tuesday as long as there is a new RvB episode out on Monday. The blog will contain the recap and my opinion on the episode.
RvB: Recon Chapter 3 The Recap: A narrator relates a message to the man known only as the
Director. The message states that they will be interviewing members of the Directors staff since he is apparently always s busy. The message then mentions outpost 17B and something called Meta, and then asks about what Meta is and what the Directors plans are with it. Washington arrives at
Blue Outpost 28: “Rats Nest” and meets
Lt. Miller. Washington is there to take one of Miller’s soldiers for a “secret mission”, Miller is not too happy about this since he says he has “Reds coming out my ass here.” Washington then states that Miller should worry more about getting his vehicles back to working order and stop worrying about troop assignment. Miller argues that it is commands fault for sending them a guy who “… said he was good with vehicles. But all he does is talk to em…” Washington gets a bit annoyed and tells Miller “I need Pvt. Caboose and I need him Now.” To this Miller’s attitude completely changes and he becomes extremely cooperative with Washington. Miller gives the duty of fetching Caboose to the British Pvt. Jones, whom they call Joe-e-ness because they have never heard the name Jones. Pvt. Jones argues that his names is pronounced a different way, but gives up and goes to fetch Caboose, whom Miller reveals is tied up in the brig. Jones is apprehensive but eventually does what he is told. Moments later we hear a gun shot, and Caboose walks out of the base, saying that Jones has somehow shot himself. Washington tells Caboose he needs him to with him to command. Caboose freaks out and wants Washington to tell him who in his family has died. Washington replies that no one has died, at that moment one of the blues tells Miller that Jones has died, to which Washington restates wash the just said, saying “Ok, no one, besides him.” Washington explains to Caboose what is going on and tells him he has to go to command with him. Miller requests to talk to Caboose before they leave. Miller tells Caboose to “Never, ever, come back here again.” And makes Caboose promise to do so, Caboose promptly says “Don’t ever go backwards.” Miller sighs and lets him go with Washington.
Another good episode, very funny, Miller reminds me a bit of Sarge and Caboose is as always dumb and oblivious which is what makes him funny. Washington’s growing frustration with this mission is beginning to show a bit and that makes for a few funny moments on his part. There are no special effects like there were last episode, but there is a
surprise at the end of the episode after the box credits, and box set ad. I wont spoilt so go watch it. This episode gets
