Well I know that this isn't my first blog, but I haven't really introduced myself on here yet.

I guess you could call me a bit of a lurker, I have been subscribed to the D-toid rss feed for the best part of a year and only recently discovered the magic that is the c blogs.

I've been a gamer since I was 4 years old, first starting off on a series that I still love to this day... COMMANDER KEEN. Yes I guess I'm a pc gamer from way back and continued to be until my neigbour introduced me to the super nintendo. It wasn't for a few more years however that I got a console of my very own.

I remember getting a N64 for my birthday and begging my dad to let me get goldeneye but having to settle with mario kart instead. Fast forward a few years to the playstation 1 and tony hawks pro skater 1 and 2, gta 2, spyro, gran turismo 1 and 2 then playstation 2, more thps, more gran turismo and a hell of a lot more grand theft auto.

These days I own a PS3, PSP and do a little bit of gaming (mainly Half-life) on pc but I would have to call myself a console gamer. I'm fairly heavy into anything with an engrossing storyline or addictive multiplayer.

To be honest I don't know why I wrote this intro blog, maybe it's the excitement that GTA IV is only a few days away or the fact that I just pre ordered another PS3 (GTA IV bundle).

So as you could imagine i'm quite happy at the moment who wouldn't be owning two ps3s haha.
