Last weekend was my birthday, and one of my friends got me a copy of Professor Layton. That's awesome, but perhaps the best part of the gift is how he wrapped it.
Yes, that's my real name. Keep it in mind in case I ever manage to become some sort of demonic overlord. Or better yet, don't. Fortunately the gift was wrapped in regular paper, so it wasn't necessary to move two of the matches to form a squashed dog or something to open it. Since then I've been playing the game pretty much whenever I have a spare moment... I hope it's done well enough to justify a sequel. Aaaand since the Penny Arcade archive is currently offline, I guess I'd better post this for clarification.
Every word of this is absolutely true.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

Also, I'm very glad to hear this won't be the final adventure of the good Professor. It's great to see that the DS is widespread enough to provide a home for quirky charming games like this.
