About Me
Man, my favorite game has to be Half-Life. But I believe the best game of all-time would have to be Grand Theft Auto IV. I'm currently playing Grand Theft Auto IV, Crackdown, Oblivion, The Orange Box, and Postal 2. I'm looking forward to Mirror's Edge, that looks crazy as hell.

Turntables and DJ'ing

Aight, since I must be the only 14 year old on here I might as well be the only 14 year old DJ. Unless, that is, someone else shares my hobby. Anyone else here play turntables? Listen to classic vinyl records? Beatmatch 3 samples from Luciano Pavarotti's Nessun Dorma with a guitar and cello sample from Dan Fogelbergs The Innocent Age with a drumbeat playing in the background all the while?
If there's any other DJ's here, say so. For all I know, the people on here will bitch to me about shit they don't know on this blog. Feel free.

14 Years Old and The M Rating
Pwningclock | 3:19 PM on 06.03.2008 24 comments

So, we all know what that bastard Joseph Lieberman did to the gaming industry to create the ESRB. And now, apparently, there's more people who don't accept that 14 year olds are literate or mature enough to handle M rated content.
You wanna know the truth? Haha, okay, well, the truth is that I wanna see this violent content. I love killing people in the game, I enjoy any type of bloody violence in a game. And now, that must make me a sociopath. But no, I'm normal as can be, give or take a few tragedies in my life.
But c'mon, I'm 14 years old and I haven't killed anybody. I first played GTA when I was about 9 or 10. I turned out fine, no school shootings or anything. Woopty-doo, eh?
I'm ready for the flames, so, bring 'em on guys.

Grand Theft Auto IV

I'm 14 years old and I've been playing games for 10 years, and never in those 10 years have I experienced a game as well-made as GTA IV. It's nearly flawless if it wasn't for the pop-up horizon issues I've known so well.
GTA's protagonist is what surprised me the most. He's one of the most well-rounded characters I've ever had the pleasure of taking control of in any game. He has a past, a present, and an almost certain future.
I can't rave about this game enough, I'm sure that people have raved about it more then myself. It's an amazing game that deserves to be played by anyone and everyone.
I also bought the special edition. I got a duffel bag, a soundtrack, an art book, and the game. The duffel bag's zippers broke in 1 1/2 weeks, the soundtrack is pretty good and the artbook is worth reading. But you shouldn't waste that time when you have such an amazing game at your fingertips.
Enjoy this game to the fullest, with or without that cheaply made duffel bag.
