Hey all,
I've been rather quiet over the holiday period so I thought I'd give very brief heads up on what's been happening videogame-wise during my absence from this lovely community.

First of all, I got some sweet swag for christmas, my girlfriend's mum got me a PS3 with Little Big Planet (I totally shat bricks when I got it). It rocks balls so hard and I love it :)

Next I received a new HORI EX2 stick for my 360 that I plan to customise with SANWA buttons and a new paint job hopefully before Feb 20 (Street Fighter IV day for us Aussies). And I also received a sweet poseable Akuma figure, another awesome gift :D

And finally to add to the awesome gifts list I received a Dreamcast with four controllers, Soul Calibur, Crazy Taxi 2 and Jet Grind Radio, fuck yes. My retro console collection is steadily growing :D I'll write up a 'my setup' post as soon as I get some decent photos and the free time to write about everything.

Okay so that's how my holidays became awesomely videogame related, so what else is there to mention?
Oh yeah, I have no car anymore.

Just the other day my girlfriend and I were involved in a crash at a roundabout (no injuries thank god), my car took a side impact at 60kph+ and the impact spun my car 180 degrees where the back end smashed into a telegraph pole. If it was Burnout I would have earned a score multiplier for sure... that's a bad joke, I know, but hell we all got out without a scratch so why not make light of the situation a little?

Anyways my insurance are taking care of the payout since the car is a complete writeoff and I am officially without a car. Maybe I'll buy a new car, maybe I'll stick with Public Transport for a while, do my bit for the environment y'know? Ahhh, as long as nobody was hurt I can be grateful for that at least :P

So how is this information VGR you ask? Well I guess it isn't really, unless you have a deep seated hatred for the XBLA Yaris game (personally I never played it), if you do then you may commence your triumphant fapping....

On a side note, the game might have been shite but that car is bloody tough, if I was driving some cheap-shit car I doubt I would have walked away from that accident.

So to sum it all up;
XBLA Yaris = Bad
IRL Yaris = good

Well back to work for me, glad to be back Dtoid, bring on 2009. Looks like I'm off to a great start already ;)
