This movie just looks amaaaaaaaaaaazing. It's now my 2nd most anticipated movie, after TDK :)

The director Kim Ji-Woon also made A Bittersweet Life (see also here) and A Tale of Two Sisters, which was a pretty good Korean horror (if not for everyone).

Twitch reports that he has teamed up with John Woo to do a remake of
Max et les ferrailleurs, apparently one of the great classic French crime movies. They also mention a remake of Le Cercle Rouge, one of my favorite crime movies ever, by Johnny To!

If you don't know Johnny To, he is basically the new John Woo when it comes to Hong Kong action movies. Slow motion, dramatic men being dramatic with guns, heroic bloodshed, the works. Definitely worth checking out, even if his movies can be a bit hit or miss.

Also, check out this animated short: Big Buck Bunny. It's pretty sweet :)

Big Buck Bunny from Blender Foundation on Vimeo.

Or the recommended higher quality version at the first of the above auto-generated bbcode links. How the hell did that get in here?

Finally, Russia seems to be shifting into gear when it comes to the action genre. Check out Domovoy. I wish they still made decent Hollywood action movies, but it seems that we're better off looking globally for our action fix.

Both those movies look great.

I loved Night Watch and Day Watch. I'd watch anything with that main actor in it even if it didn't look as cool as Domovoy does.

Sorry I didnt make it to FNF, but I let a buddy borrow my copy of COD4.

The first trailer for "The Good..." looks... good.
