Someone either sneakily cammed this interview, used a really fucked up camera, or they had a guy cut out a circle in a piece of black paper and had him hold it in front of the lens after a long night of hard drinking.

Anyway, some guy uploaded this Jade Raymond interview about Assassin's Creed and other things on Gametrailers:



Highlights (not much news):

- The "modern" looking highlighting on npc's are not a hint for any role of the modern age in the story. Just an art-direction decision to make certain elements a bit clearer (or so she says)
- NO DEMO will be released: either it would spoil something or they are rushing to get it out in time?
- Average of 18 hours to complete it, if you only do the main story elements. About 40 hours with the sidequests
- Guys laugh like excited middleschool boys when Jade makes a joke.
- Jesus in a game would be overpowered
- If Assassin's Creed does well (which it will), there will definitely be an Assassin's Creed 2 and years of more Jade videos. YES!
- "The way the game was designed has openings for smaller episodic stuff" so we can guess that the story has enough depth to expand. But it's still only stuff for the far future.
- They talk about Beyond Good and Evil a couple of times, Jade mentions how it got critical acclaim even if it didn't sell well, but earlier on she mentions how games like Assassin's Creed are not the most mainstream titles and Ubisoft supports that way of thinking.
- Jade would think about producing a Beyond Good and Evil 2 (there was a Jade in that too) but she needs a vacation first. Awwww, we're here for you Jade!
