Childhood tv-show memories Part 2.0: Community Edition
Maurice Tan | 1:22 PM on 10.19.2007 25 comments

After yesterday's successful flashbacks to our collective childhood, here is a followup of all things that you all have mentioned in the comments. There's some other stuff we missed too, so scroll down to the 2nd section of this post if you already watched all the mentioned shows and videos yesterday. There's even some full episodes at the bottom, especially for Snaileb, for He casts the teases into the bottomless pits of hell.

Yesterday's additions:

Bobby's World

DangerMouse

Bananaman

Wuzzles

Goof Troop

Care Bears (called the Gummi bears in Dutch)

My Little Pony

Noozles, fucking win

The Adventures of Sam & Max: Freelance Police, also free on GameTap

The World of David the Gnome

He-Man

She-Ra

Beverly Hills Teens

Land of the Lost 1974, what the hell?

Denver the Last Dinosaur

Sharon Lois & Bram's Elephant Show

The Bloodhound Gang, looks gayer than He-Man

Dinosaucers

Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors

Pole Position

Hammerman

Pro Stars, it's all about helping kids!

Wild West C.O.W. Boys of Moo Mesa

Peter Pan & the Pirates

Turbo Teen

Uh oh, this doesn't work. I'll split it for this once.. Continued in Part 2.1. Sorry Steve519 for bumping you off the bottom of the list! Maybe you'll get more comments now :)

My internets! They are stalled.

Awesome trip down memory lane, though. How the hell did I watch so many of these shows? I thought I actually played outside from time to time. Guess not.

danger mouse was awesome. and the 'gummi bears' being the dutch name for care bears is weird as i distinctly remember a show called the gummi bears in the us. weird.

then again i still can't think of the name of that show i rambled about in the last cblog.

I used to watch the hell out of Sharon Lois & Bram's The Elephant Show. I still have the damn end song stuck in my head. "Skinnamarink-a-dinky-dink, Skinnamarinky-doo, I Love You." Damn my childhood was awesome.

Johnny Blaze, sorry but I just hate the Muppets. I keep my cherished memories of them in a cabinet, next to my heart.

I had forgotten everything about Denver the last dinosaur, i loved that cartoon. And "Wuzzles", no wonder i never remembered the name.

I never saw a lot of things with real life actors besides Power Rangers and Banana Splits reruns.

I think I'll spend the weekend looking for old videos, watching cartoons, eating candy, chocolate, icecream and fictious cake.

Prof. Bloodhoung Gang was the SHIT. It's dated now, but it was awesome for little nerdy kids.

We need Pirates Of Darwater. I loved that one because it was really violent and the cursed in their own little language.

Was I the only one that saw the pure awesomeness that was Dinosaucers. But then I was a sucker for anything with dinos in it. Between my parents and grandparents I made them take me to Jurassic Park 5-7 times.

Ah David the Gnome, why was that show so captivating when I was a young'un? Of course I don't remember the opening song sounding like that. For some reason Bram's face is burned in the back of my memory. I don't think I really want to know why.
