Late to the party? Fashionably late? Horribly late? Oh well...

I have been visiting Destructoid for over a year and I love everyone here (except for michiyoyoshiku*). It's great to have a place to discuss games with others who enjoy them as much as I do. The majority of my real life friends have no idea what the hell I'm talking about when I start rambling about Pixeljunk games.

Anyways, here is my JAWSOME Top 10 List:

1. I only read Destructoid at work- I research property ownership for a Water/Power company in Phoenix. This means that I am on the internet 9-5 perusing documents from the Maricopa County website. During my down time, I check out Dtoid. Consequently, I am sick of the internet by the time I get home.

2. I read all of the Community Blogs- Every single one. I would love to comment on every single blog if I could, but I do have to get some work done. I am thankful for everyone who can put in the time to blog, I love hearing the opinions of my fellow gamers.

3. Star Flight is the greatest game of all time- Starflight is amazing. If you haven't played it, I recommend the Sega Genesis port. It's essentially the same as the original but with updated graphics, sound and controls.

4. I am half Filipino/half Caucasian- Most people assume that I am Mexican, Hawaiian or from the Middle East (if I have a beard). My dad is an Anthropologist at ASU and studies various cultures on the island of Palawan. He stole my mom from that island.

5. I saw a kid's mind explode- My dad did a lot of research concerning the Batak Tribe. One day long ago, a couple of Batak came down from the uplands to our house in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. There was one particular boy who came down and had never seen a TV let alone an N64 before! I was playing Mario Kart 64 with my brother and he sat there in awe... completely mesmerized. He really had no idea what the hell was going on. I gave him the controller and tried to explain to him in Tagalog what to do. Instead, he sat there grinning and running into walls in battle mode.

6. I grew up a Sega Fanboy- I love the Sega Genesis and I love the DC. The two best gaming systems of all-time.

7. I run... and I love it- I ran track and cross-country in high school. I was alright.. I ran a 4:40 mile and a 2 minute 800m.. I wanted to run cross-country for ASU but I got a stress fracture my senior year and never really recovered in time to train for the team. I still run at least 5 days a week and will run an occasional half marathon.

8. I played PS3 with the Arizona State Legislature- My brother is a policy advisor for our House of Representatives. A house member came over to our place and he saw me playing Resistance 2. Intrigued by the game, he stayed up til 5am playing split-screen co-op online. He wouldn't leave. He kept drinking beer and talking about how he was going to buy a PS3 to play online with me. He never did though :(

9. I beat my heroin addiction with gaming!- How else was I going to afford a PS3 on a $500 a month habit?

10. I'm an artist- I love that there are so many other talented artists in this community! It's inspired me to do some videogame related artwork. (Note: Below artwork is not videogame related)
