"10-yr-old commits suicide after parental ban on computer games

According to 'SpiritIndia' a 10 year old school boy committed suicide by jumping from a 19th floor apartment a short while after his parents actively banned him from playing computer games. His parents banned the use of computer games following the child's poor school performance which triggered him to commit suicide. Local experts have gone on to express concerns over the high level of dependence children have on computers."

Videogames - 3 (I think... according to that one Jack guy anyway.)
Parents - 1

Now I guess we need to wait a day or two for Jack Thompson's response and then we can all make fun of the stupid things he says.

Also: The kid obviously had other problems then just a dependence on videogames. He most likely just had a dependent personality over all.

Take the same kid, get him addicted to music, and then take it away. The same this would of most likely occured.

It's COMPLETELY the parent's fault and no one else's. It's a tragedy, but another case of BAD parenting. Not to mention the kid was probably spoiled or a bit messed up in the head.

All of that added to his death. He could of been addicted to cartoons and would of had the same effect. Take that one, Jack "the douche bag" Thompson.

The path to suicide is long and very complicated, with thousands of factors leading up to it, often over a period of several years. To blame it on any one thing is a mistake.

Though I did chuckle at bottled dark's explanation.

it wasn't suicide, he was just trying to go out and get something to drink from the gas station. he thought that the 4 stars from all the agility orbs would definitely help him survive the fall.
