Here's a link to an article on my video game blog. In this entry, I talk about with how some video game stories are developed, and how they adversely affect the quality of the end product, using examples from Gears of War and Resident Evil 5. Yes, I am something of a whore.

Edit: I revised this entry in hindsight because I, in my infinite retardation, managed to upload the most non-descriptive post in history. I blame MSN, SMS, Tweets and modern technology in general for this most heinous deterioration of the English language!
Unfortunately for me I will, for purposes of historical documentation, leave the original post content in:

Dtoid is not an advertising outlet.
Probably explains why you're fishing for hits by linking your blog here. Seriously, if that's your attitude to general feedback, don't bother.
I personally don't see the problem with a blog-by-proxy. People link to stuff that interest them all the time. Is there really such a big difference if the source site and the link page is the same guy? I don't see why you should take it as advertising since the only thing I have to gain is commenting and people reading whatever I write. It's not link I'm trying to 'steal' Destructoid readers. Granted the response I'm getting here is so hostile I'd probably gotten a response like 'way to post your shit all over the place' had I pasted the same thing in more than one blog.
Still, if this is how people perceive it, then fine, I won't bother in the future. Sorry for abusing my blogging privileges.
Yes, it was rather snooty, and apologies for that. Unfortunately it immediately triggers the trollercoaster when someone only posts 3 lines in a blog and links it to elsewhere. Majority of those times it's just someone spamming stuff etc, but since you're actually being civil, you have my apologies and an explanation.
As great as your intentions were, 3 lines is more of a tweet. A blog is usually a more fleshed out item with thoughts and ideas constructed in it. You wouldn't want to link with two lines of text to a Dtoid article in a full blog post on your site, so the reverse applies here. Yes, people do normally link stuff in the blogs, but it's not usually a blog linking to another blog in way of advertising elsewhere, especially when that full article could have been posted here. Judging by a few of your blogs there, you could possibly with a bit of work even get frontpaged since there's clearly a lot of substance to them. Since Dtoid is a rather popular site, that would get you a hell of a lot more coverage than just posting a link that most people wouldn't click.
I actually only just found that out myself, heh.
