What the gaming community needed for a long time.

Behold my newest Web project!
Game-Releases!

For a wile now I used to go to multiple website looking to see what game was coming out this week. Then I thought why not find a release calender online. And to my surprise there was none. Sure you see one in like a magazine. But they don't always pan out to show you all the games coming out. So some weeks later. I give you my newest website!

Please note I'm the only guy adding in games to the site. So I haven't finished adding in xbox360, PStripple and PC tittles. Hopefully ill finish it some time before this week is over.(I blame Epic NARP for my delay). And there are more features coming in. so just think of this as beta. >_>

So what you guys think?

That seems a bit odd to not have a game release calender online...oh well, good shit man.
Professor Pew's Destructoid Blog
Sweet idea! This is much better than plowing through ebgames.com or sorting actiontrip.com. Bookmarked!
Fana7ic's Destructoid Blog
Really digg it, but how about adding an option to look at Europe release dates?
Fana7ic's Destructoid Blog

Fana7ic, thats coming down the line. i just don't have a release list from Eu. also i would need some one to keep on top of that. so some time soon in the future.

pro tip: mess with the filters on the top right. remove consoles you don't have from the calender. ;)
dgenerate's Destructoid Blog
Jerk!

I have a prototype of something similar up... except it was user-driven.... and I have much less web skills than you :(

Nice site and very welcome. I always hated not having a single source to check for releases.
razerangel's Destructoid Blog
Sweet, wait you thought of something and it hadn't been done on the net yet?! SOMEONE DIVIDED BY 0!
aborto thefetus's Destructoid Blog
Do you have the release for UT3 on 360? I can't find the release date for that and somebody I know claims it comes out this summer. I would check it out myself but the computer I am on currently is blocking the website for some reason.
Skribble's Destructoid Blog
you are a goddamn legend dude

fucking ace site
SuitcoatAvenger's Destructoid Blog
Are these ship dates or in-store dates? I'm assuming in-store, but the Monday and Thursday releases this week are throwing me off a litt.e
Pedro Blandino's Destructoid Blog
aborto, I got the date July 07 2008. its not up on the calender right now.
Pedro Blandino's Destructoid Blog
Release Dates. in store ship dates I can't do. they vary from lactation to location.
GuitarAtomik's Destructoid Blog
Good idea man! I always ended up doing the same thing checking random sites for release dates but this makes it a lot easier.
AgentMOO's Destructoid Blog
Great idea! much cheaper then using my gamefly queue to do that! I find myself adding a lot of games I don't end up playing
Anus Mcphanus's Destructoid Blog

Spitfire's Destructoid Blog

Tubatic's Destructoid Blog
Amazing site man! This is awesome!

. . . can you widgetize this? How cool would it be to have a little calendar you can slap onto a blog or website to both access the raw release info, and link over to the full site content?!
Pedro Blandino's Destructoid Blog
tubatic, its coming. but right now im working on other things on the sites.
ninjamogzero's Destructoid Blog

AnTi PRO's Destructoid Blog
Not gonna lie...that's awesome.
Morrius's Destructoid Blog
That's really great, I love the clean design and the simplicity of it. Seriously if you keep this up to date, I can see it being bought out by a bigger company and making you a fortune.

One thing though (and its a big one) how about specifying US/Euro releases in another version?

Other than that, you've just come up with the best idea I've seen in ages. This site does a similar thing (http://www.tothegame.com/) but its a mess.
smackifilia's Destructoid Blog
awesome

Nice work. Where are you pulling the info from? I used to use the IGN release calendar, but it sometimes goes a little while between updates.
