New Duck Hunt on Nintendo Wii? Possible Fake video.
Pedro Blandino | 3:44 AM on 01.14.2008 11 comments

Wile dicking around on gametrailers I found this video. The Video shows a unreleased and unannounced Wii version of duck hunt called "New Duck Hunt". The video was made by the son of someone that works at Hudson Soft. so maybe Dtoid can confirm the legitimacy of this video.

Oh man, if this video is real. the father is going to be in a so much trouble XD

Interesting. I suppose it looks real enough. The logo reminds me of the New Super Mario Bros. logo.

I bet this kid's dad has beaten the hell out of him by now.

That would be something worthy of Wii-Ware. I wouldn't be completely surprised if it came out for that.

I think that'd be cool if nintendo brought out a range of "new" games. Think along the lines of duckhunt, balloon pop and other such games redone al la new super mario bros. May seem cheap but i'd be sold on it.

Yeah, the video looks legitimate enough. I agree with Batthink, though... I wouldn't pay full price for it, unless a ton of crap was added to it. WiiWare release would be nice, though.

I really hope this is real. I've been waiting for a new Duck Hunt game to come out.

Sadly, I'm guessing it's fake.

1) Game developers never take games in progress home.

2) That animations are shabby, the music and sound effects are directly lifted from the NES game, and the game itself looks really, really boring.

3) Hudson?

I have no doubts in the abilities of people out there to make fake game vids after that Mario Galaxy on the DS vid I posted a while back.

But I hope I'm wrong and this is a glimpse at the early build of a new Duck Hunt.

Man, I hope that's real. If that kid's dad finds out he's gonna get his ass beat.
