ok at the start of the game im asked to install the game for 8 minuets, ok cool. and after i finish the first chapter in the game its asking me to install more?! WTF!

Did DMC4 do this too?

DMC4 had a single install at the start of the game. Took roughly 20-30 minutes though.

I'm a little surprised, but I guess several installs wee sen as better than on, 30 min install.

yeah, same here, PD. I mean, when you're really immersed in a game, your really don't want to be interrupted by something like an install. Right?

Why did they do multiple installs? It's a bit weird. After two you've got the feeling there might be more. I'm not saying that there are but you get the feeling.
Just like the RROD issue. If you've had one you can never really ignore the fact that it can happen again and keep thinking about it while you should be playing games.

I would also rather have a big one and get it out of the way than smaller ones throughout the game.

Its intresting how they make fun of "mutiple disks" but last time I checked it takes a lot less time to switch disks then have a 30 minute install lol.

If you think this is bad, trying installing a fresh copy of World of Warcraft on a PC and then having to download and apply gigs upon gigs of patches.
