Awesome. I always hated playing the game on PC, always felt like I needed a controller to fully enjoy it. Great news for Wii owners.

I hate to doubt you, but there was a inaccurate report about a month ago that Cave Story was coming to WiiWare, and I was really disappointing when in turned out to be false.

Yeah Jonny Greenwood (from the band Radiohead) plays this game too. I love Cave Story a lot. It's really amazing.
Yeah it's still Indie and I actually will pay for it so who cares.
I still haven't played the version I downloaded. I should get on that.

YES.
fetusmilk, the psp version is done. has some text glitches but fully playable.
God yes. I can finally play this with a controller and not a $5 sticky-buttons PC controller :D
