They first need to find a good gameplay mechanic that works with the gameplay in 3D, just as most successful 2D to 3D games did.
So if they can find something that works with 3D whip swinging and the sub-weapons, they can make the rest work.

As Wilbo said, Curse of Darkness was actually pretty good for a Castlevania 3D. There is a problem though with this, IGA and co have tried to do it in a DMC style, since himself said that DMC was how Castlevania should have been in 3D.
I think that Castlevania has the potential on making a good 3D game, they just have to keep trying.
Yeah I agree with you Passionate Styos, I think that if they keep on trying, they'll EVENTUALLY make a good one, but how long will we have to wait, and by the time they actually get it down will they have lost too many of they're fans?
