This image has appeared on the Double Fine projects page, right below the recently announced Br�tal Legend. Could it be that a sequel to the critically acclaimed but commercially failed game is in the works? To be honest, I'm not so sure that Double Fine has the resources to produce two games at once, so perhaps this is just a rehash of the original game in some form like a re-release or Wii port. If however it is a true sequel, it will be Tim Schafer's first since Monkey Island 2 over 15 years ago. Personally, I would rather have Grim Fandango 2, but the fact is more Schafer = more good.

God, I would love it even if it was a Wii port. But a sequel to Psychonauts is the stuff dreams are made of.

I don't mind either way. So long as the game gets more exposure. If it is released on the Wii, they'll be a nice wide audience ready to try it out, making a sequel more feasable, so I really would love that just as much as a sequel. In fact, I'd probably like it more; I'd hate a sequel to be released to a generation that didn't know the original nor cares that much about them.
