Check out how dispicable this cunt is. The leap she makes is fucking sickening...But reading the outpouring of "fuck you it isn't video games" comments is a testament to gamers and non gamers being disgusted by het soapbox-ish platform pushing agenda that she tied onto the tragic murdering of 2 young girls.

It wasn't as horrible as you make it out to be. She is pretty much saying (without the actual words) that perhaps a crazy person like the murderer she's writing about could take things too far.

From the article:

Perfectly sane and humane individuals can entertain themselves with such technology, games where one can take on the role of an antagonist and assassin, rise through the ranks through bank robberies and pimping. Voyaging through the criminal underworld could be quite fun to someone who would never, not in a million years, commit such a crime.

See? I think she means (and I agree) that the wrong game in the wrong hands can be very dangerous, although she is barely even making that statement. She's just throwing out a suggestion, a very plausible suggestion.

Note that she never, not once, calls for any action to be taken. She's just writing down her thoughts....

@ EDS: The way I read it, she threw that in to cover her ass for the completely ridiculous assumptions the rest of the editorial is filled with. There's zero evidence to tie the crime to video games, yet she does in pretty much every other paragraph. Her article is crap.
