About
Hi.

I'm the kind of gamer who doesn't really have enough time to play games all that often. So I guess that kind of makes me a "causal gamer". BUT, I not really a casual gamer in the sense that all I play is games for 4 year olds. I like playing hardcore games like Ninja Gaiden (Xbox & NES) and Metal Slug 3 (If you want to tell me that playing the last level on the Xbox version, AKA no continues mid-level, is not not hard, I will fight you). So in that sense, I'm kind of a "hardcore-ish" gamer. In conclusion, I guess what I'm really trying to say is I hate pigeon-holing things and I'm a "casually hardcore" gamer, if such thing exists.

Between my brother and I, we have amassed this collection of platforms: PC, NES, SNES, N64, Dreamcast PS2, XBOX, Gamecube, GB (the giant gray brick edition), GB Color, GBA SP, DS Lite, and Wii. I have never gotten rid of a console, and don't plan to. I kind of like having a quasi-museum.

The system I hold dearest to my heart would probably be my SNES. I grew up watching my brother play through RPG classics like Chrono Trigger, FF III (AKA FF VI), and EarthBound. So when I go back and play those games, I get kind of nostalgic. This would also explain why my favorite game of all time is EarthBound.

If it's not obvious at this point, I have always played consoles more than I have my PC, but that doesn't mean that I don't play it. 'Cuz I do. Look for me on Steam. My name is the exact same as it is here. Nubc4kes.

According to the official site, Smash Bros. Dojo, Brawl will have a level editor.

Dojo said these stages will be compatible with SD Cards so there will not be any limit on how big the stages can be. Also, You will be able to transfer the maps between you and your friends Smash friends via a Wifi Connection. Even cooler though, you will be able to submit maps you've to Nintendo over the interwebs, probably only one per day. Then, they can hand pick one and make it "The Map of the Day" that will downloadable for anyone. NO FRIEND CODES REQUIRED! YAY!!! BUT! Dojo states that the plan is to map the map vanish after the day is over. (Aside: I want them to make an option so you can keep the maps you like)

Let's just hope they make this creator isn't just tacked on and is robust enough so people can make some really cool stages. Regardless of how this feature turns out, I really, really want Brawl!

wow that's pretty sick
Super Smash Bros. Melee did not have any problems with longevity. I still play it every now and then. And it looks like I will be playing SSBB for a very long time after this development. This is one of the 3 main things I wanted.

[X] Stage Editor
[_] Different Character Skins
[_] Sonic to not be put in Brawl (This one, sadly, will remain blank forever.)
That's really amazingly fucking cool, Brawl is going to be feature-riffic.
Wow... didn't see that one happening, awesome.
That's really intense. I began thinking of Mega Man Powered Up when I read about the level editor, further fueling the rumors of Mega Man being in Brawl.
That's sweet
Riser you can tick the second because Fox has a Wolf suit and the same goes for others
Wow, the day that Brawl was announced, I was like "meh, whatever."

Now, I want it so bad I'd sell a kidney for it. I'm sure it'll only get better, with how much time they have to release more updates like this.
Thats awesome!
I have the exact same check off's as Riser.

And Justice, the StaxFor/Wolf in the Brawl demo was jsut a pallete swap, not an alt-skin.

Still holding out hope for that in the final version though.
@riser.. does it count as a skin if the colours change ?

level editor: sweet. im sure there will be some creative websites that post a DIY screeenshot of how to make "such and such" memorable place. or the ability to download it.
The only thing I want confirmed is if you can save stages that you get through the "Stage a Day" feature.

That would only make a good addition even better.
I may be late and you may have left dtoid but this news will change the gamer war in my favor once again.
