Apparently Capcom's in the same line of thinking as
EA, because in the past week a Capcom representative said Wii owners coveting more
Resident Evil would be "very happy" with an upcoming announcement.
The announcement:

Fuck you, Capcom. They started off the Wii's lifespan with such amazing promise--
Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition, Zack & Wiki, Umbrella Chronicles, Monster Hunter Tri, and
Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. In the time since then, they've hinted MH3 won't even be exclusive to Wii; TvC (despite their claims of trying to bring it over) is currently looking like it won't come out in the US; and in the time since these announcements all Capcom has done for Wii is lazily port
REMake and
RE0 to Wii, stillbirth
Dead Rising: Chop 'Till You Drop, and now, they announce yet another sloppy light-gun game on a Wii market already shat upon with light-gun spinoff scraps.
Gee, it's almost as if they
want the Wii to fail. /sarcasm

I'd rather see that than more cheaply made flash-games.
Don't hate on Capcom, they've been one of the most consistent publishers this generation across all platforms. They are simply trying to support each console the way they feel is best. Personally I don't care what they do on the Wii. Sure, I'd be happier with a real RE game, but I've already got that tomorrow night for the 360/PS3.
They obviously feel that big-budget action games don't belong on the Wii, and I can't say I blame them really.
If you look at his Bio, you would notice he doesn't have a system in which to buy a real RE game(as you put it), as RE5 is for the 360 and PS3.
Personally, I disliked Umbrella Chronicles, its a very slow paced lightgun shooter and I just don't like that, I like my lightugn games to be silly, fast and over the top.
seriously, it is a lightgun style game on a console that accurately reproduces the arcade experience. so if some other company made a lightgun game for wii would you still be whining like a baby right now?
Seriously, all I have for lightgun right now is Overkill and Ghost Squad until I can get another CRT TV and get Time Crisis 3 on again.
The quality with Wii lightgun games is very good too, looking forward to Dead Space Extraction.

I think people are seriously overreacting to this news. Umbrella Chronicles was a GOOD GAME. A game that could possibly improve on it's formula should be looked at as an EQUALLY GOOD THING. Why is this so hard for people?
And Horsea Vs. Capcom is a liscencing nightmare. Anyone actually expecting it to come out legally anywhere that is not Japan is living in crazyland and needs to jump back to reality for a second.
