I found a sweet oblivion rap on the interwebs! It's nice and funny for all those who played oblivion. NOTE: If this has already been posted, sorry. Well heres teh link:http://gangstaoblivion.ytmnd.com/
OR if I screwed up on the link (XD): http://gangstaoblivion.ytmnd.com/
Well. It has become apparent that the assholes that we have all experienced on Xbox Live have already made their way to CoD 4. Why have they decided to tread the holy ground and desecrate it? My theory is that they realized Call of Duty 4 is far superior to Halo 3 and made their unholy pilgrimage.
Honestly, Im sick of people going on Xbox live and cussing out the littler kids who are playing the game. Although I am not one of the kids, I feel bad for them still. Just because their voices are higher that the other player's shouldnt entitle a verbal beatdown. If a kid is just trying to be tactical and communicate with the team, I dont think that is a bad thing. Although that is true, if they are being complete idiots, that DOES entitle a verbal beatdown.
Plus, there IS indeed a "mute" button. Idiots. You don't have to go through the trouble of cussing the kid out. And, if you too want to join the cause, do your part! Go ahead and leave bad reviews and such. Fight the idiots who are ruining kid's and maybe your's game experience.
A new TF2 patch is underway, and here is some incoming info for ur faces. Preatty awesome, and all info is straight from Valve, no false info here.
Valve is issuing a new patch for TF2 (ns). This new patch will be more of an altering patch, adding new instead of fixing old. A couple of big disappointments in the patch. The patch will, ffs, INCREASE THE PYRO'S POWER. Wow, that just needed to be done. *sarcasm* And, THE DEMOMAN WILL BE NERFED. Wtg Valve, I still love you though.
A big addition is a new gametype/map called Goldrush. This map will be very different from any other map in the game. The gametype has one of the teams have a super high tech minecart (ENOUGH WITH THE MINECARTS, JESUS) and one team will have to get near it to make it move to the finish line. At the same time, the opposing team will be trying to get near the minecart, and therefore halting its progress.
Another huge thing is the addition of the Overhealer This baby will boost the teammate's health to 200%, but it will drastically reduce ubercharge build up, or may halt it alltogether. How is this thing unlocked? By completing half of the class achievements for the class. If you unlock all of them, you will get another goodie (not released yet) Every class will be getting 2 new weapons as well, but none of them have been released yet (but I will give continuous updates).
I cant wait for this patch, and I CAN wait to get completely pwnd by pyros. Oh wellz, it'll be a new way to keep players interested, I guess. I hope the engineer gets a cooler sentry...
There were a few games that are now retro cult-classics that I was thankfully around for. I was a young gamer, just getting my Nintendo 64. I must report some of my personal favorite N64 games so that some may emulate and enjoy these cult classics.
Well, I WAS going to say 1080 Snowboarding....but that just came out on the VC. Meh bad.
Banjo Kazooie- a classic platformer. This was moderately popular, but I dont think it was on the front page of Game Informer......if it was, once again, meh bad.
Diddy Kong Racing- classic racing. A fun racing game, although targeted for a younger audience, it still presents a rather challenging atmosphere. One funny thing I noticed is that Conker was a charactar in this game....yeah, no joke.
Cruis'n Series- BEST arcade racing evar. So freaking fun- you HAVE to play this one. (this is my 2nd favorite n64 game, just try it) The level design is fun, and there are plenty of cars to choose from. Actually, a new port of it is coming out on the Wii....it looks absolutely terrible, but I have no choice but buy it, I'll review it when I get it.
AAND last but certainly not least, my personal favorite game of ALL TIME....
Rayman 2: I compare this game to mario in many ways. A great side scroller turned to a better 3-D platformer. The story is epic, quirky, and dark. The level design is fantastic, they are so well thought out and artistic its as if you are almost in a dream. After you play them, you find yourself asking: "Did I really play that? That was as surreal as hell...". The charactars are simple, but it makes you love them with the game's simplictic genius. Please, do yourself a favor and emulate this one. (or buy it for DS, the title is Rayman DS)
Well, there we are. Those are four of my favorite cult classics. Note that they are all for the n64. I personally think that the n64 has had the best games of any console. It mixed complete epic classics and under-the-radar hits that gave it the best library of games ever.
Ive been gaming since i was 3, the first system i got was my good N64. My first game was Cruisn USA, a racing title. I must say that that game was one of the best n64 titles that no one ever bought. It had about 20 tracks, 5 cars, and a "Cruise" mode that allowed you to play the entire game through, which is worth doing over a few times. The level design was excellent, and the multiplayer was fun. A year later, Cruisin The World was released, a LOT more cars, more tracks, and the same fun cruisin mode. More years later, Cruisin Exotica came out, with more cars, actually exciting and almost cinematic courses, etc... A sequel has not came out since. Come on! Cruisin The World has made great sells, same with Exotica. Why no sequel? Not even a VC release? Nintendo owes it to all of you to remake this game, and you would love it.
This brings me to a couple of other games that Nintendo has to sequel: Pokemon Stadium and Snowboard Kids. Some people may say "Ninevolt, there was pokemon coliseum and pokemon battle revolution?" First off, Pokemon Battle Revolution wasnt a game. Secondly, Coloseum sucked. Its storyline was terrible, and no ability to choose any pokemon you wanted. It was awful. Snowboard Kids was a childhood favorite of mine, a fun snowboarding kids game (multiplayer is fantastic). Sadly, SBK for the DS came out last year. I picked it up, and the guy at gamestop literally said "Dont buy it, its horrible." Well I bought it. I almost cried. I dont even want to share my disappointment that welled up inside me as I bought it.
