The Introduciton

Hello, my name is John Marasigan, but half my friends call me by my nickname "Niko". I've got a strict policy about what people call me, but I won't get into that.

You know, talking about myself has always been one of the hardest things for me. Partly because I'm introverted as hell, but mainly because I don't quite know where to start. Do I say something nice about myself at the risk of sounding narcissistic, or do I say something bad and make it seem like I've got self-esteem issues? You know what, fuck it. I'll just stick to gaming.

I'm your average 16 year old Filipino-Canadian, and I have been gaming since I can remember. You see it all started when I was five and I once came home from a day of playing in the park to find that my parents brought something out form the closet. It was an old NES with a shoe-box full of games. For reasons I can't really remember, I was only able to play it for that one night. Because I didn't know that at the time, I only got to play one game. That game was the first significant step that changed me into the very person writing this introduction. I'm talking abut Contra. After that, the rest is history.
